    Reports have emerged identifying Atlanta United ace Miguel Almiron with a move to Premier League outfit, Newcastle United. The player is said to be at the top of Rafa Benitez’s wishlist for the January transfer window.     KANSAS CITY EXTEND SINOVIC’S CONTRACT

    Sporting Kansas City faithful servant Seth Sinovic has extended his stay at the United States based club for another year after signing a contract extension, three days before facing Portland Timbers in the return fixture of the Western Conference Championship. The 31 year old defender has been a very important figure for Kansas City over the years, helping the club to three US Open Cups and an MLS Cup title since signing with his hometown club in 2011. He has led his team to 62 shutouts over the last eight regular campaigns and the club is 85-48-46 when he is in the starting lineup.

    Schmid on leaving LA Galaxy

    Former LA Galaxy head coach SigiSchmid said that it was probably a good thing that he was replaced at the head of the team. He said that sometimes a new coach arrives and bring in fresh ideas and that the players feel motivated and this can ultimately bring an improvement in results. He said that he would have loved to continue with the team because he had a two-year project in place and he feels that he has not had time to complete it.
