RYAN SHAWCROSS DEPARTS STOKE CITY AHEAD OF MLS MOVE
Former Manchester United player Ryan Shawcross has entered an agreement with Stoke City to have his contract with the club terminated as he edges closer to a move to Major League Soccer giant Inter Miami now managed by another ex-United player Phil Neville. 33-year-old Shawcross signed for Stoke City after leaving Manchester United back in 2007 and established himself as a first-teamed, making more than 400 appearances in the process. ORLANDO YOUNGSTERS SET FOR PACHUCA TRAINING
Several young players from MLS football side Orlando City have been pencilled down for training in Mexico according to the announcement from the club. It was revealed that four young players from MLS football club Orlando City will train with Pachuca FC in Mexico. Pachuca is one of the biggest clubs on the Mexican club football scene. The four young players set for Pachuca training are goalkeeper Mason Stajduhar, the midfield duo of Jordan Bender and David Loera plus defender Michael Halliday. New Major League Soccer (MLS) team Inter Miami CF have come a long way in MLS football within a short period. The club was founded two years ago and it has an iconic figure as one of the co-owners. The club is very popular, especially outside MLS football, partly due to the influence of co-owner David Beckham who’s a legend of English football. MAN CITY TO OFFLOAD STAR DEFENDER
Manchester City want to get Nicolas Otamendi off the wage bill this summer. The Citizens have cut their asking price for Otamendi by almost half in an effort to offload him. City have already signed Nathan Ake from Bournemouth and want to sign another centre-half with Kalidou Koulibaly continually linked with the club. The Argentina international was subject of a transfer move last summer with a return to former club Valencia falling through in the last minute.
